We’ve expanded access options for your containers on EdgeOrb! With this release, a new Layer 4 Proxy now allows you to expose TCP and UDP applications to the web. Previously, routing was limited to HTTPS traffic only.
This update opens up new possibilities on the platform, supporting everything from IoT receivers to game servers.
We’re excited to announce support for deploying endpoints to your own custom domains, now secured automatically with SSL certificates from Let’s Encrypt. This update makes it easy to set up secure, branded access to your services on EdgeOrb without needing to manage certificates manually.
With custom domain support, you can seamlessly connect users to your applications while maintaining your brand identity and ensuring data security with HTTPS encryption. This enhancement offers a streamlined, professional experience for you and your end users.
We’ve introduced a new registry page that allows you see all of the container images, and versions of images you’ve uploaded to the EdgeOrb registry.
You can now generate Personal Access Tokens under your account for authenticating with the EdgeOrb registry. Previously, logging in to the registry required your account password, but now you can issue and revoke tokens as needed, enhancing security without compromising convenience.
We’ve continued enhancing our backend network fabric to provide your applications with the most reliable and high-performance connectivity between services.
